Whose Line Is It Anyway Wiki
Wl showstopping number

Show-Stopping Number is a game in which three performers enact a scene. Periodically, the host sounds the buzzer, and the last performer to speak must sing a show-stopping tune based on their last line, to pre-recorded music. It is Bob's Call on Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza, named for musician Bob Derkach.

Trivia[]

  • The scene typically starts with two performers and later the third performer enters and the third show-stopping number is the one that ends the scene.
  • Ryan often ends his song with a reference to something funny that happened earlier in the show, for example Drew Carey choking on an Altoid mint or Wayne misspelling Howard from "Song Styles".
  • When done on Whose Line?, the tune was the same for every song. On Improvaganza, the song was different every time.
  • There was no buzzer on Improvaganza. Instead, Bob Derkach would start playing music whenever he felt like it.
