Misha Collins (born Dmitri Tippens Krushnic, 20 August 1974) is a American actor and director. He is best known for his role as the angel Castiel on the CW television series Supernatural (2008–present). Earlier, he had had recurring roles on the first season of 24 and a three-episode stint on ER.
